I’ve never had my hair highlighted before and so Jody sat and talked through with me about what I wanted and explained what she was going to do , she discussed all way through what she was doing so I felt comfortable with what she was doing as I did fell a bit nervous before . I loved the whole experience from start to end I’m definitely coming back as been to other salons not very often and never felt comfortable as I did yesterday so thank you so much . I love my hair
I honestly can’t recommend Jody highly enough. She’s such a talented and skilled hairdresser, and she’s been amazing throughout my cancer journey. Growing your hair back after chemo is emotional, It comes back differently and feels so precious. Jody just gets it. She knows exactly how to shape and care for post-chemo hair and handles it with such sensitivity and care. I always leave feeling more like myself again, and I’m so grateful to have her.

As always I come out of Zappas very happy. Jody is excellent, she will give recommendations but always goes with what I want. She does a wonderful job of both cutting and colouring. I've had my hair cut by Billie and Jody and both times I've left the salon absolutely beaming - I love their work that much! I usually leave hairdressers feeling a bit meh and recently made the mistake of trying a different hairdresser. SO glad I ended up back at Zappas! The stylists here understand hair and understand their clients - I have always felt completely listened to which makes such a difference. Can't wait to come back!
I have used Zappas for awhile now and I have never been let down by them. Always friendly and courteous. Booking is available online which is extremely convenient. My particular hair dresser 'Jody' is absolutely amazing but all the staff are lovely. I've never really enjoyed having my haircut but I look forward to it now.

My stylist, Chloe, was patient, attentive, and absolutely amazing at what she does. She kindly suggested a haircut that would suit my face shape, and the result was beautifully done. Haven’t been to the hairdressers for 15+ years, so was very anxious, I had highlights done by Chloe and another colleague and they really cared about getting it right for me. Chloe was lovely and spent a long time on me today. Added bonus was my 6 year old having the time of her life amongst the team! I was able to take my laptop and work also. I have been bringing my daughter to Zappas on bean oak road for a few years now. Kristy usually styles her hair and with year 11 prom coming up we were looking for something extra and so we were introduced to Chloe. For 6 hours Chloe transformed my daughters hair and gave her exactly what she needed to feel as special as shes always been in her mothers completely biased opinion. From brunette to black with hot pink stripes. Chloe you're fantastic! C is still smiling. Thank you for that. Also whilst I patiently waited Georgia went to work on my unruly locks. We both left feeling as light as air. Staff friendly, helpful, accommodating and will keep you hydrated and then you'll leave looking amazing. Zappas on bean oak road. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
A massive thank you to Chloe at Zappas on Bean Oak Road! Chloe is incredibly knowledgeable and her communication is always clear and thoughtful. As someone who is Autistic, I’ve often found salons overwhelming, but Chloe is exceptionally accommodating—she checks if I’m comfortable where I’m sitting and regularly asks if I’m feeling okay. That level of care is something I’ve never experienced before, and it truly means the world to me. Even when I struggle to express myself clearly, she always understands exactly what I want. I hadn’t been to a salon in over 8 years due to my neurodivergent needs, but Chloe has made me feel so safe and welcome. On top of all that, her haircuts and colouring are amazing. I have already rebooked for a fourth visit. Chloe is truly a gem!
I’ve just come back from having 3/4 head highlights, a cut and style all by the wonderful Chloe. After a bit of a rough start to 2025 and being 8 months pregnant, my confidence hasn’t been at its usual level. From beginning to end, Chloe was super friendly and extremely accommodating with making sure I was always comfortable. I went in to the salon not feeling my best self and have come out with a few tears in my eyes - Chloe has completely reignited the spark I used to have for myself and I’m back in love with my hair. I cannot fault a single member of the beanoak team, everyone is so friendly. Chloe ~ it was an absolute pleasure to meet you and have you do my hair, you’re truly an asset to the team. I've been going to Zappas now about 6 months and extremely happy with the service. They're not only so transparent with their prices (which i love and need in a hair salon), but the prices are quite reasonable for the products used and the service you get. Chloe is a top class hair stylist and highly recommended her for highlights.
First time with Chloe..who straight away put me right at ease. She did a great job, box cut at the back..I had some special treatment on my hair and it made my hair unbelievably soft..and I mean soft it was gorgeous..can't recommend her highly enough..she was just brilliant. Booked to go again as I'm very confident in Chloes capabilities and I like the checks the senior stylist do..nothing condescending.. just great advice and you can tell they want them to succeed..which is just what you want to hear..if you get a chance.ask for a junior to do your hair you won't be disappointed with🤗😚😄

Amazing service -100 STARS! I felt totally pampered, spoilt and looked after. The atmosphere is very relaxed and luxurious and the quality of hairdressing is top-class. Jess listened really carefully and made expert suggestions for the cut and colour which looked great. She taught me what to do to maintain the look in between appointments and they offer a fantastic colour touch-up service which is superb value. Jess, Chloe and Talley were all absolutely brilliant. They also have offers to help you reduce the cost. Highly recommended. I enjoyed my experience here immensely and I'm looking forward to going back 🙂
